چکیده
Abstract One of the waste materials produced by industry activities is fly ash and bottom (FABA), it brick combustion waste. Fly hazardous toxic (B3) for contains heavy metal oxides polluting environment. Related to condition, output study toxicity potential test carried out coal in Nagan Raya PLTU (Electric Steam Power Plant) proving conversely. The relatively safe be used as construction material. explained that have adequate good potency utilized. potencies developed utilization asphalt mixture material including fine aggregate substitution filler substitution. research aimed find characteristic utilizing FABA road pavement concrete layer (AC-WC) reduce environment pollution detect appropriate proportion optimal utilization. percentage must meet requirement binder 5-15% weight, while minimum 75% weight filter pass No. 200 (0.075 mm). both mixtures using ashin 15%-30% variation was different. similar. Fly Ash-Based Geopolymer Mortar Incorporating Bottom Ash
This paper presents the results of study on effect of various parameters on mechanical properties of fly ash-based geopolymer mortar with bottom ash as partial or full replacement for sand. Compressive strength of samples with 10% bottom ash (BA) was comparable to those with only sand. Further increase in bottom ash content decreased the compressive strength. However, the reverse tendency occur...

Abstract Background: Photocatalytic process is used as a suitable method for o-chlorophenol removal. In this study, the efficiency of a mixture of modified fly ash and TiO2 nanoparticles in photocatalytic removal of o-chlorophenol was evaluated. Methods: After acid washing of fly ash, the absorbent was oxidized with potassium permanganate. ...
متن کاملOptimizing and Characterizing Geopolymers from Ternary Blend of Philippine Coal Fly Ash, Coal Bottom Ash and Rice Hull Ash
Geopolymers are inorganic polymers formed from the alkaline activation of amorphous alumino-silicate materials resulting in a three-dimensional polymeric network. As a class of materials, it is seen to have the potential of replacing ordinary Portland cement (OPC), which for more than a hundred years has been the binder of choice for structural and building applications. Geopolymers have emerge...
متن کاملCharacterization of Bottom Ash, Fly Ash, and Filter Cake Produced from Hazardous Waste Incineration
in this study, the chemical characterization of solid residues, i.e., bottom ash, fly ash, and filter cake, produced from the izmit hazardous and Clinical waste incineration Plant (izAyDAS) was investigated. the izAyDAS is located in the city of kocaeli in turkey and it has been in use since 1997. Several parameters were measured, including AoX, Cl-, CN-, So4 2and selected heavy metals includin...
متن کاملMixture Proportioning Options for Improving High Volume Fly Ash Concretes
High volume fly ash (HVFA) concretes are one component of creating a more sustainable infrastructure. By replacing 50 % or more of the Portland cement with fly ash, a significant reduction is achieved in the carbon footprint of the in place concrete. While HVFA mixtures can be proportioned to produce equivalent long term performance as conventional (cement-only) mixtures, performance problems a...
